Cardamuma

Cardamom (loving dubbed Cardamomma) and her ten babies seamlessly joined our family from day one. They were rescued from a parking lot in Hamilton during the coldest of our winter days by animal services - we truly believe it’s a miracle they all survived. We’ll always remember the day we picked them up; momma nervous but hopeful, immediately jumping right into the basket we brought for the puppies and looking up as if to say… you’re here for us, right?

You bet we were!! Not only have we not looked back once - we have loved every moment they’ve been with us, and it honestly feels like just yesterday we welcomed this sweet family into our home and hearts!

Her pups are named after spices for cuteness reasons, and Cardamom is the sweetest spice of the bunch! All jokes aside, this beautiful girl is all sweet and no spice. She is such a patient and doting mother, which really helps make fostering this many puppies a breeze. She’s the star of the show, and we’re lucky to be her supporting cast, lol.

This goofy girl’s only “flaw” so far is that she’s a connoisseur - she’s a big foodie, and she’ll nab anything she can get! But if you have a peek at her photos, and then take a moment to think about what’s she’s endured… you never know if sneaking bites to eat is what got her and her kiddos this far. 😔

Although I’m sad this likely is not her first litter, I’m thrilled it will be her last! Cardamom has the sweetest soul in the world; she lives to please and absolutely loves cuddles on the couch when she’s off the clock. She’s become completely enamoured with my hubby; a total daddy’s girl and it’s so cute! She’s going to make her future furever family so happy… Until then, our family is lucky to get to love and cherish them! ❤️
