Fostering:A Lifeline for Pets in Need
Fostering is an incredible way to support your local rescue while being a pivotal part of a neglected or unwanted dog’or cats journey to a brighter future. By providing a temporary home, you offer these dogs and cats a solid foundation to grow and thrive—all at no expense to you.

How fostering works and the role you’ll play
At Snowflake Meadows Rescue, we cover all costs associated with fostering, including food, medical care, and any other necessities the dog or cat may require. Your role is to love and nurture the dog or cat as if it were your own while helping with important training aspects, including:
Crate Training: Helping the dog feel secure in their crate.
Leash Training: Teaching the dog how to walk politely on a leash.
Basic Obedience: Working on commands like sit, stay, and come.
Transporting to Veterinary Appointments: Ensuring the dog or cat receives necessary medical care.
Litter training for cats
One of the most heartwarming aspects of fostering is the opportunity to adopt. If your bond grows and you find it difficult to let go when it’s time for the dog or cat to be posted for adoption, you have the option to make that dog or cat a permanent part of your family.
If you're interested in becoming a foster, please fill out the foster application below, send us some photos of your home, and a brief description of what life with you would look like. We would love to get to know you better and invite you to meet some of our adorable Animals. Together, we can embark on this rewarding and exciting journey!
